The path to your individual night lenses
01 Preliminary measurement
First, we'll get to know your eyes thoroughly. Visual acuity, anterior segment of the eye, and corneal measurements form the basis. Depending on the situation, we may add further measurements or check your eye with a rigid gas-permeable trial lens.
02 Submission
Now we'll use your measurement data to create your individual orthokeratology lens. Together, we'll insert the rigid gas-permeable lens, check the fit with fluorescein, test your vision, and explain how to handle and care for it. This way, you can start your first night safely.
03 The Morning
The morning after. We check the cornea and the effect of the treatment using fluorescein, PentaCam HR, topography, and visual acuity.
Full visual acuity is not necessarily achieved after the first night. However, vision is usually significantly improved.
04 after 3-5 days
The effect continues to develop. Visual acuity, corneal thickness, and overall effect are checked again. The progress is documented.
Follow-up appointment after approximately 2 weeks.
Many customers have already achieved very good and stable vision. For higher prescriptions and astigmatism, the corneal adaptation may take a little longer.
06 Check-up after 4 weeks
We give your eyes the time they need. We accompany, monitor, and optimize the adaptation process. After 4 weeks, the adaptation is complete.
